Default GSR Suspension Million $ Question!

OK guys/gals, my GSR is getting ready to be released to the wolves in ITS and I need some opinions on how I should proceed. I currently have OTS koni yellows with GC coilovers on the "stock" springs rates (~280/380). This is obviously too soft and will need to be replaced, but in order to do so I will need to also get the shocks revalved. With SCCA changing the rules for next year and allowing full coilovers, should I consider and different setup? If not, would I be best off selling what I have as a package and just buying all new stuff (i.e revalved Konis and new spring rates?) Any opinions?

Let the debate begin!

Yea .. that setup will suck. You will need at least 600/800. Either re-valve the Konis or get something that will handle the higher rates.

if I had not just bought suspension I would have bought these Advance Designs for 800 bux and gotten proper Eibach springs and the optional billet mounts

::BLORT:: Those are a deal! Buy them! I paid $1000 for mine from a good guy on this board and I thought that was a steal. I love these shocks.

Sam at Raceworks is a great guy. He is building an exhaust for my car as a type this.

Yeah, that's a great deal. Somebody should gobble those up.... just be sure to adjust spring rates for the somewhat digressive shock valving.

Mybe this is a stupid question, but what is the best shock/spring setup these days? I always thought that Koni made the best stuff and they were here to service their parts. Any opinions on the best setup?

Hyper coil, Eibach ERS, are some of the top spring manufactures. I don't think you could go worng with either.

The AD's are a great choice but DON'T RUN them on the street

Koni's as always is a kick *** damper, and Lee is ALWAYS here helping us out
