new azenis sport sizes and rough release times
So is this the full list of Azenis sizes that they'll produce though 2005? I'm going to miss some of the old sizes... Maybe when they switch over they'll clear out the old sizes, then I get to have a field day!
And then when that runs out I'll have to buy 15" rims...

Several of the old sizes are still there - the most notable deletions are the larger 16" sizes. They did finally add a Civic-sized 16", however.
Also, it is important to note that the RT-615 is the "new" Azenis tire, with a revised compound (for marginally better dry grip) and revised tread pattern (for better hydroplaning resistance):

The old Azenis we all know is the RT-215.

I feel cheated. Unless I'm willing to cram 225/50-15 on my 15x6" wheels, or swap wheels at every auto-x (using 205/50-15 for AX), I can't buy Azenis in 15"
Looks like no shaving needed.
And from what I heard about the older Azenis is that they created the tire so they would heat up quick. Not realizing that they heated up too well and overheated

other than heat generated from tread squirm, no.
none of the other top notch street tires had huge tread blocks like the old Azenis...and they were still awfully fast.

I'd rather buy granite circles than any 40 series tire...</TD></TR></TABLE>
Id pimp down a 205/40/16 over the current hotshoe 205/50/15 anyday. think about the gearing advantage.

Any word on the price as compared to the previous generation?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Wondering the same thing... this size is typically much lower in price than other sizes. At least it is with other make/models of tire.
