Default question about pedals, and painting my steelies

I have two questions, and since the search function is down i have to make a new post, which sucks cause im pretty sure this has been covered.

First question is what would be the best non slip pedal for a eg coupe, whenever my feet are wet (from rain, snow, ect...) my shoes are sliding all over the pedals, i go to push the clutch in and my foot slides up the pedal and it sucks, alot.

Second question, is there a guide on painting steelies, mine are the stock silver crap and i am going to paint them flat black because i think they will look moderatly better on my red car.

thanks

Notecards or tape around the steelie usually works when painting wheels.
