98 accord headlight
does anyone know how to "safely" take out the stock headlights of a 98' accord lx 4dr without breaking them? ..id search but the damn thing is unavailable.... Even a link to a "how to" guide would be alright. thnx.
Do you mean the lightbulbs or the plastic unit?
The lights just twist out.
The headlight unit is secured by three or four screws--I just did mine, but I had everything off the side of the car. You'll probably have to take off the bumper cover--if you do, be prepared to get replacements for the clips that will probably break. Mine was held in by three screws--one on top, one on the side and one underneath. Yours may have a fourth screw on top.
You may not need to take off the entire cover--work the clips off on the top and on the side. Maybe you can leave the clips on bottom alone?
Good luck.

To take the whole headlight out you have to take off the bumper, its not that hard, just remember where everything goes...if you want get some crayons and a piece of paper and you can draw yourself a lil remember sheet
