pretty much all late model hondas use the same oil filter, save the hybrids (insight) and passport.

Same oil filter as all other D-series, B-series, F-series, and H-series engines.

The engine runs great, idles okay. I'm running a chipped P28 ecu with my VAFC still hooked up... I get an engine check light but i think that's from the vtec wires not being hooked up. Which ECU would be ideal for an OBD1 DOHC ZC?

maybe you should use a jumper wire and flash the code and see what is causing it
