Spoon Sports ECU !?
Hello Honda People
I reacently put a Spoon Sports Computer in my JDM 2000 Integra and as all of you know the V-tech point and the Rev limiter is set diffirently . My question is ...
Is it safe to Rev the Engine to the limiter set by the Spoon Sports ECU ?
Thanks
Marlon.

where's the rev limit set at.
i know most spoon ecu's are set at 9200rpm which is safe for a stock itr motor(pushing it but still safe)
but i had to ask cause for some reason he might have a spoon ecu that was from a race car and had the rpm set at above 10K which would not be safe at all.

On the Spoon Sports website it says that the Rev limiter is set at 9000 rpms but when I test mine the tach goes up to 9800 until the rev limiter comes !
I know that the factory rev counter is off by a few hundreds Rpms because the factory ECU rev limiter is set at 8600 and my rev counter reads 9200 when the rev limiter comes with the factory ECU.
So does the stock valve train handle the added RPMs ?
