Ok buddy - I'll bite and give you a few pointers as I have a swapped '94 Accord w/ JDM H22A.
- You will use your shift linkage from the Accord as it is compatible
- You will use your axles as they are the correct length (prelude ones are a little longer)
- You can use your existing motor mounts except for the driverside - that one needs to be a prelude mount with a little grinding done to it.
- You will need a little exhasut work as the exhaust manifold downpipe from the prelude is different from the Accord's - 2 holes v. 3 holes. You will need to weld on the correct flange to mate up with the rest of your exhaust.
- You will need to decide if power steering is a must have as this will take some work to make the accord lines line up with the prelude pump.
- You will need to add some additional wires. If your Accord is an Ex trim - all you need to add is the knock sensor wire. If LX/DX trim - you will need Vtec pressure switch wire, knock sensor, and Vtec solenoid wire.
While you are at, before dropping in the motor, replace the following parts
Timing belt/balancer shaft belt
Water pump
clutch and pressure plate
resurface flywheel
new spark plugs and wires
New cap and rotor (if JDM motor - buy a '92-'95 Civic DX cap = internal coil)
Replace upper and lower radiator hoses - might as well put out for a new thermostat as well.
you will need new accessory belts (alternator/ac/power steering - but this depends on what brackets you use as well as if you use the accord or prelude alt. or compressor)
If I have forgotten anything - I'm sure some other members will jump in with their info.
GOOD LUCK!!
