4-1 vs 4-2-1 headers

Default 4-1 vs 4-2-1 headers

ive been lookin into getin a header and i really only have 1 question wich is better? 4-1 or 4-2-1? does any one have any data for each of the two?
anyway i wouldve searched but its down or somthin any help would be great.

what engine do you have....whoa!! another kansan on the board...what up homie!!!! LOL...if you have d-series you have some options...B-series a few less but there are a lot out there!!

The differences, usually 4-1 will deliver better top end while 4-2-1 will deliver better bottom end and mid-range. I personally think the 4-2-1 will deliver the best results unless you are going to be on the track all day with the throttle wide open. The other problem is that your engine has a limited number of headers being made for it. DC Sports makes a nice ceramic coated set that is supposed to be quite nice and not terribly difficult to install.

yeah for the d-series.... there are very few for the the OBD0 engines....but if you know how to wire up a heated 02 sensor into an obd0 car..your options open a little

The ground clearence of a 4-1 header scares me on our cars.. Just my opinion..

i think he said it's at stock height now because he went threw like 3 headers with it lowered

4-2-1 header would be your best bet...

i have a 4-2-1 header. works good for me. and i'm pretty low. and its on a b-series. also you just half to drive careful
