Default H22 SWAP! OBD 1 OR OBD 2

I have a question! I have a 96 Civic but i have i just got a h22 swap..should i stay with the obd1 it came with or covert it to obd 2 like my car? please respond a.s.a.p.

well if you want to be legal and since your car is a obd2 I suggest you switch to obd2 especially if you don't want the cops telling you to pop your hood and making you go to the smog ref. eventually you will need to go to the smog test only station sooner, or later they'll see that engine and will fail you.

obd2 so you can pass the restrictions they have in cali.
