dash pot

can i remove it on my 89 d16a6 and wwhere do the vacumes go to

Yes you can remove it. All it does is smooth out the idle when you shift and let off the gas into idle. Just cap it off or pull it off, and plug up the hole on the intake tube. I took the one on my B16A off.
