Default Kerosene for ITR?

As I know Kerosene is the cleanest form of fuel available used for jet engines. I beleive it will burn the fastests? Will the engine withstand the temperatures produced by the fuel? Should I get new pistons or what? Experts please!

just put racing gas in it if your looking for an "edge in racing"

either way, your probably talking about street racing which going to get you flamed terribly in the ITR forum. If you really want to have an "edge" put some mods on your car, and take some weight out. (back seat, spare tire and jack) good for at least 60-70lbs. And you also might wanna have almost no gas for this race of yours.

Either way, street racing is dangerous alot of the time. And no matter what you do, its not going to help you out a whole lot, unless you do some engine modifications and some management with lots of tuning.

Kerosene is one step above diesel. I wouldn't recommend it.

What exactly are you doing with your caR that you need race fuel? Just wondering...

You will see what will be done to the car when the road is on fire.

Ok i might have been a little ahead of myself. But back to the point kerosene is not gonna do much good for the race or your engine.

Kerosene would probably cause you to detonate. Diesel is ignited by hot compressed air. Glow plugs are used just to warm up cylinder temp before you start the engine. Just get some octane booster.

I think you should try it out and see what happens.

I'd love to see the look on the faces of the folks at your mechanic's place when you ask them why your car isn't running very well, and tell them what you did...

if it was supposed to be put into your car, the manufacturer would have put it into the manual.

This is going to be nothing but a flame fest, so...
