accord taillights
im changing my passenger taillight and cant seem to get the yellow reflector out of the light.... does the light come apart? its the one on the car not the trunk... 96 EX
are you talking about the reflector that's inside the light itself? i don't know about taillights, but my friend with a 2002 accord baked his headlight in the oven and peeled off the orange reflector.
you just have to work at getting that little piece in there with some pliers.. that is if thats what your trying to do.. its a pain in the @ss if you ask me... I think you can bake it as well, you would have to find the post. somewhere.
ya it was a pain.... beat it out of place and twisted it a lil than cut it up into pieces with some scissors... finally got it out and now my taillight actually matches
I tried that pliers ****. **** that. I put mine in the oven for a few minutes, took them out, pried them opended and got the reflector out, reattached them, then looked at my new red/clears.

Just a little bit of caution for people trying to do this... the taillights are MUCH more fragile than headlights.

Tell me about it. The first one I did came out fine. The second one......CRACK. Having to deal with Honda ordering another tailight for a COUPE(******* idiots, I said 4 door) was such a hassle
. Definetely excercise some caution when doing this.

I messed up on one of mine a while ago, and proceeded to get a little frustrated...
