NYC Timing Belt Cost
Hope its ok to start a new thread on this but Its info that may be useful:
At least in NYC, the price I have been quoted so far to replace my Timing Belt/waterpump/tensioner/gaskets is:
$900 at the Honda Dealership in Manhattan
$750 at th Honda Dealership in Queens
$600 at the Pep Boys in Brooklyn
$450 (estimated) at the local mechanic in Brooklyn
I'm going to try to buy the timing belt kit online to see if it lowers my cost, I guess I'll go with genuine Honda Parts unless someone has another suggestion.
I am a DIY'er, have the manual and want to do it myself but I just don't have the space or the tools to do it
