95 Accord check engine light on???

95 Accord check engine light on???
Hello, yesterday I got in my car and started it as normal and the check engine light was on. I immediately checked my oil and trans. fluid, My oil was a little low so I put a quart in. I then noticed that I had left the plug to my trans. fluid sitting on top of my battery from the last time I checked it. DUH!!!!! I can't believe I did that, anyways, it was a little low so I put some in. It went off for one drive and then the next time I started it, it was back on again. Any thoughts? Should I be driving my car at all? I really need this car, between me and my husband this is the only car that will hold the kids
