so today i go to change my spark plugs for the first time and find the spark plug wires are submerged in oil. i then check all four and the answer is the same, submerged in oil. my friend and i then take the valve cover off and inspect... when replacing the valve cover, the previous owner failed to provide grommets on all four of the areas needed. my friend then pulls grommets out of a h22 valve cover and they fit. tomorrow, i go to buy a new valve cover gasket and new grommets to make sure of proper height.
