Default rims & tires

ok ive got an 87 accord 4dr LXI. whats the biggest rim size i can get away with, i like the look of a thin tire on a large rim... im hopeing to put 2 -17x8 (+12mm, 4.95" backspace) front, and 2 -17x9 (+24mm, 5.95" backspace) rear.

They are 4-lug (4 on 4.25). These wheels will fit the 1979-1993 Ford Mustang, all models except the '86 SVO and the '93 Cobra.

Will they fit???? what size tire would i need to buy...

why would you put larger wheels in the back, your a front wheel drive car, if you want bigger wheels put them in the front if they fit to get more traction, but seeing how you probally have a stock motor, just get 4 wheels that are the same size

you should do a little more research before buying them. offsets are different from front wheel and rear wheels drive vehicles. so even though lugs are the same clearances may not be. also using two different size rims means you cant rotate tires from front to rear which gives tires a shorter life span. and 17 and 18 inch tires arent cheap. just a couple of things to consider.

if i had an 87.... 26's would be the minimum... nothing else about that car will set it off, so hell....better go all out haha

you might need to roll the fenders with 26's tho........
