Default Type R Distributor Rotor the same as Ls,Gs,Rs?

I just went out and bought a new distributor rotor from advanced autoparts and they told me that the Acura Integra rotor is the same for all models. Is this true? I didnt see a difference in them, and the part numbers were the same, but now that i have put my distributor back on, my car wont rev into VTEC. Whens it gets to 5700 rpms it start to studder real bad. Could my timing be messed up? I made sure that everything lined up right just like it was before i took it off. Someone please help, thanx
