5th gear on my tranny was popping out pretty badly. One day it just went away and I was happy. Now my 4th gear wont even stay in gear. It just pops out ,but no grinding at all when engaged. What could be happening here?

 

8-( first check your tranny fluid level. and when it shows up that it was fine, your tranny is toast synchros are anyway.

 

Replace your tranny fluid... sounds like you are running low
