i ran a 15.80 before all stock, and tonight it ran a 15.73 at 91.4 mph all stock 130XXX plus.. i thinks that pretty good for an all stock 4 door on bald 14 inch tires. Is this slow or fast for 1.8 LS 4 door??

Do you have any weight reduction or anything...thats pretty quick for a stock 4-door ls...

 

no weight reductions. but i did have a trunk full of junk. but the inside was lookin good lol

 

oh yeah, what size slick can i get to just put on the factory wheel??? dont want it to look obviase. my clutch is stock to. i had to leave at 2000 because i could ever hook and i still spun like carzy at 2ooo rpm's. on slicks where could i launch&gt;&gt; i know it starts building decent power around 3500-4000 and up. im afraid to break my axles or tear a boot.

 

You could probably leave higher than taht if you slipped the cluch a bit...thats how i found i could launch my car the best. On the street i launch my gsr at like 3-3500rpm and usually pull an awesome launch...but its all in clutch feel. If you drop you'll more than likely spin at al RPM's...

I somewhat agree. when I had I/H/E in my LS, 2 door. I ran 15.2 at 90 mph...I really don't know where you are getting 91 mph

I ran 15.68 @ 87...With full interior, 2 car seats, 1000w amp, 12" sub and box, and my 200lsb *** in there....explain that....It only had an exhaust at the time

Why would someone lie about their stock 15 second times?? Maybe he can just drive better than you or got a killer engine from the factory.

Yea you are def way off with that remark. I know people that had vouched for a guy I know run a 14.2 with I,H,E in his LS. I didn;t see this run, but I know alot of people that did and vouch for it?

How do you explain that? Some cars just come faster from the factory than others. We call them "freaks"

 

i dont know why id lie about a 15 second car when i have a nova that i broke into the tens with it just runs good. i thought it was pretty quick, and had the car for about 8 months and everytime i go to the track and dont have the nova there, i have to rag something out. it already trapped 88 mph, so 91 didnt seem that big of a deal to me

 

im sure i can just drive better then him

 

not bad man my 2000 Celica GT with a passenger, system, spare, full interior i only ran a 16.9, and remove the passenger and junk i still wouldn't have been close to 15.7 and my celica was faster than a friend of mine's LS...

 

those are some crazy times dude...i cant even run that in my gsr....
