I tried searching for this but right now the search is down or something. Anyways, i just installed my J's racing intake and now i'm researching my next mod (header,cat,exhaust) and i'm looking at the Hytech header/cat/exhaust combo. It say's on the site that it's quiet and i'm just curious if anyone on here has it. What's it sound like? I don't want anything that sounds ricey or fart can like at all!!

I've also been looking at maybe doing a Fujitsubo RM01A exhaust plus JDM sized cat w/ a Toda header. I'm wanting to make good power all the way across the powerband while keeping it relativly quiet or at least deep toned. NO RICE!

Also, are their any ground clearance issues on the hytech system? I know the toda is supposed to have good ground clearance.

 

When i had mine it was close to stock sound levels at idle just a little deeper. Loud enough off idle to let you know something is there but not offensive.

Ground clearance was excellent. Really enjoyed that exhaust.

There is a hytech sound clip in there. In my opinion it sounds perfect, not too loud and not too quiet, and the perfect amount of "deepness".

 

I run the hytech exhaust with a non resonated test pipe and it's very loud. People I have talked to that run it with a cat said that it's allmost like stock tho.
