ive got a d16y8 and im planning on getting an exhaust eventually...i was thinking about a mega power catback from Skunk2 or a Apexi N1 what do you guys think?

97 civic ex i dont wanna be REAL loud since theres no point in making all that noise when u dont have much power so yeah..

 

dont get skunk2 or apex n1..i hav skunk2 and its really loud and i just got pulled over about 20mins ago for the 3rd fukin time for it...im getitng rid of it as soon as i get my ES Oval muffler

 

dont get invidia then either it is loud as hell correct me if im wrong but isnt magnaflow pretty quiet??

yea magnaflow is pretty quiet..so is RSR mag..and Apexi World Sport

 

well i have a friend with a d16z6 and an apex n1 and its not loud at all...maybe cuz he doesnt have any headers but ive heard a couple of cars with a magnaflow exhaust and theyre kinda loud

hey i just looked at your home page and i think you were at the meet that i was at today...your talking about you friend with the teal EG coupe with apex n1 arent you

 

well yeah i was at the h-t meet in towson today...and his car is green and he has the flat black n1

 

i'd recommend apexi ws, thats what i got on my 96 ex. not too loud but still sounds nice.

 

I like the sound of both but im ordering an HKS setup for my civic.

 

i recommend an es oval muffler, its what i have. Not too loud, but still sounds aggressive at WOT.

 

I have n1 and its very tame and quiet, Just dont hack the cat.

 

yeah the n1 is rather quiet but nobody knows if the skunk2 is loud?

 

magnaflow or es tuning, both are quiet exhaust

 

N1 rules

 

I personally have an apexi ws on my 2000 CX hatch. I love it it's quiet at low rpms and only gets aggresive when you do. Very nice deep tone.
