Default using toda cams with skunk2 valve springs and retainers.

If i use skunk2 valve springs and retainers with a set of toda spec c cams on a 99 gsr would i be able to rev past 8600 rpm or would i have to use a type r ecu.

the cams, retainers, springs don't determine how high you can rev... your ecu does.. you can have no mods and have your ecu modded to have no limiter..

You need to chip your ECU...either to have the redline bumped up higher, or no rev limiter. Your cams will just make power as you rev higher...Toda C's are tight

i'm not sure but i think you need higher compression to see some good results with the C's also...
