they're pretty easy to install... rusty nuts sucks though.

and as far as ebay stuff .. you get what you pay for.

while you're at it, replace your shifter stabilizer bushings.

did mine a few weeks ago, took about an hour, not tough at all. You might need somebody to help ya, just to hold the shifter in place while you re-attach it to the shift linkage. definitly do-able though..try searching google for like 'short shifter install' and you'll get a few sites, some of which have pics. good luck

yea I had to add a few washers around my ebay short throw to take up some of the slop since it didn't quite fit right; I'd assume if you pay more you'd get one that fits right.

well the saying you get what you pay for usually applies... but i was wondering myself how much different they really are cause i am looking at the B&M and they are shaped and designed the same... maybe B&M uses a better quality bearing, but really... if the bearing wears out on the cheap one, buy another hahahaha

the only places i could say i'm very stern about not skimping out is suspension, other than that working in distribution sales, i know how many of thes products are made over seas many from the same place, slap their name on it and charge what they feel is appropriate for them to make money...

hint, hint... a non name off ebay is more than likely the same as an apc, pilot, spw, toucan/ractive/eurolite...

I had a DC Sports Short Shifter (a good name brand). It made a good amount of difference, but it needed some extra bushings when installing. After about a year, I bouhgt myself a B&M Short Shifter. There is no comparison, the B&M made the DC Sport Shifter feel like Stock. BTW: the installation is Cake . All you need is patience- with the two "slotted' bolts. If you dont know what i am talking about with the "slotted'' bolts you will once you have installed a short shifter.
