It's 1 4 3 2...1 is obviously on the far left of the valve cover then 2, 3, 4.

2004.11.6

Firing Order is 1-3-4-2.

Cylinder 1 being closest to cam gear, cylinder 4 being closest to distributor.

1-3-4-2 is correct. Number 1 cylinder is closest to the cam gear.

obviousely, your plug wires are ALSO all different in length the longest one goes to cylinder number 1, then the next longest goes to cylinder number 2, and so on and so on. that being said, refer to the diagram i crudely constructed and put your plug wires back on. if it doesnt work, then youve done something wrong

I'll have to agree, the sohc D series and dohc B series in the 96+ civics and 94+ tegs are all 1,3,4,2.

1-3-4-2

Confirmed by a 1996-2000 Honda Civic Helms Manual.
There, I backed up the real answer with proof.

Anybody ever heard of Companion Cylinders. both going up or both coming down.

One on Power stroke other on Intake stroke, 1342 is correct or 3421, 4213, or 2134.
