Default How do you feel about "jdm" stickers??

Basically alot of the cars ive been seeing recently, have a lot of japanese (mostly) stickers on them, i.e, advan, type 1, spoon, jun, apexi and more, and i was just wondering what people think about them, because basically stickers used to mean RICE in my oppinion. But i kind of like the JDM look to them....

sorry if this is as repost or if im a being a idiot, but id like to know, I have a few flaws on my car that iw ould ike to hide, but i dont wwanna get FLAMED for them

jdm stickies used as "car band-aids"..woot do it and take pics..in other words..do it if you feel the urge..so what if people flame you/that just means they noticed you..having a little personal style/flair is a good thing..at least it used to be encouraged

the only reason you should have stickers on is if you are sponsored by them or you support that brand. I hate those jdm idiots that run anything other than advan and have an advan sticker cause it is "jdm" or "spoon"

I also heard stickers decrease drag by 0.05 which will increase your 1/4 mile time

I think you should rock whatever you like. Worrying about whether your car is "rice" or not just takes away from the fun of putting a project together.
Look at it like this, no matter what you do to your car, there's going to be people that hate something about it, so just ignore it and have fun with it.

So does that apply to the Professionals too like DRFT, Falken, Advan, Spoon, Mugen, TRD, Nismo, Mazdaspeed, RalliArt, you know what I mean, explain that.

They suck too. The stickers are to hide their inferrior driver skills.

I would understand if you were sponsored by them. But many people are not.
The reason why I think they put those stickers on is because they're trying to POSE the JDM style.
Stickers are also a good way to advertise to thieves.

the "rock what ever you like" idea is just an excuses to do what ever you want.
rodrez always says stuff that everyone wants to hear.
Those same people rocking the JDM tyt3 stickers are also people that flame ricers.

It all comes down to this. People try too hard to sport the JDM style.

Actually it's not an excuse, I never really felt the need for an excuse. I don't "flame ricers." I AM a ricer. Number one, I drive a Honda, so automatically I'm a street racing ricer, or ITR thief, or Fast and Furious wannabe. Number 2, I have my Techlogex sticker on the back window at all times, no matter what, it's not coming off. Number 3, the parts on my car are not all OEM, so that's "rice" according to alot of people.
Again, I just don't care. It's my car, I worked my *** off for every penny I put into it, and all the time I spent tightening bolts on it would equal months. So I'm putting whatever I want on it.
