question about intercoolers, need input
I own a 91' Honda civic lx w/ D15B2 engine. I am having custom turbo kit built for my engine, the builders wanna know what size intercooler I want. I have no clue as to what size would be best. They asked if I want a 6in, 8in, 10in, or 12in. I don't know anything about intercoolers so I need some help. If it's a 6in they wanna know if I want 23x6x3, 29x6x3, or 32x6x3 but I have know clue what these numbers mean. If anyone can help me with this dilema, it would be much appreciated. thanx.
get one from johnny racecar, great price and they fit nicely on ef's dont know how your bumpers are, but if it has foglight pockets then you might have to cut them out. do a search for pics the core almost covers the whole airdam on our cars

you all have been very much helpful, thank you. One more question, wastegates, what's the difference between internal and external? Which one is better in your opinion? 35mm or 38mm external or an internal?

The wastegate is simply a valve that allows exhaust to bypass the turbine, limiting the energy available to drive it. The external wastegate allows the valve to be bigger and flow path smoother, resulting in better boost control and the ability to safely manage a more powerful engine.
