new clutch
hey all, i tried to search but its unavailable right now so i figured i'd ask.
i've owned a couple hondas and never until now have i gotten a brandy new clutch kit.
it's the OE Honda clutch kit, and the flywheel was resurfaced also. I must say for OE this thing holds like all hell, i can lay rubber in 2nd gear with only a 3.5k rev, i'm very impressed.
The only thing that has me a bit worried is that now the clutch pedal is like 20lbs lighter and when i depress the pedal i have about a 2 inch dead play in the pedal whereas before the clutch pedal was about 20lbs from the top to the bottom. I was just wondering if this is normal or what?
btw its a 91 Si HB
I'm very impressed though, i didn't think the OE kit would have this good of holding power.
any responses would be nice, tia!

adjust the clucth cable to take some of that play out. the adjustment point is at the end of the clutch cable where it meets the arm on the tranny. just turn it clockwise a turn or two. as far as the feel, if it holds it holds. wanna see how well it holds throw a 75 shot of n2o at it. if its like mine it will spin like a freesbi
