DEL SOL TACH ?

Del Sol Tach
I have a 1993 del sol and the tach stopped working. I took out the gauge cluster and made sure all the connections were right and still no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a haynes book and i connected the negative in the distributer cap to the blue wire in the instrument cluster, no luck, then i connected it to the left white w/ blue stripe wire, no luck. does anyone know what wire i should hook it up to?
