Help rex won't start
I have a 89 ZC crx that refuses to start, turn the key and it clicks once. Sometimes it will start, but most of the time it won't. It will push start no problem, i have already replaced the main relay and starter recently so those aren't the problem. Grounds are good and clean too. I do suspect my battery cuz its an odyssey pc90 but it has always started the car when it is willing to comply. It throws a code 14 but thats just my IAC and only affects my idle (?) or maybe thats the problem. I don't know but I need help because its embarrassing when your girlfriend has to help push start your busted car!
...if it push starts it's defenitly something wrong with the starter / battery or connections.
When you push start it you're using the alternator to give you juice rather than your battery. That's practically all the battery is for... starting. Check your battery, check your grounds, and check the Pos connection to the battery and also to the branches from the pos battery terminal to your fuse box and to the alternator.
It's a good thing that it push starts because then you're pretty sure it's electrical which is usually an easy fix.
