Default Smog Problem MajoR pain the the *** ;]

Hey guys, I own a 90 Crx and it had a stock exhaust system. My problem is, I recently had a performance exhaust system installed ( New Exhaust Pipe, Exhaust ). What the shop did was, they cut my CAT STOCK CONVERTER and welded the New Pipe in placed of the STOCK CAT CONVERTER. So now i don't have a CAT CONVERTER.... =\ and i'm trying to get it to pass smog.

How will i do this legally?

Is there any other way beside trying to find a stock CAT CONVERTER off another Crx?

Will any CAT CONVERTER for the year of my CRX work?

Cause i pretested and all they said was i need a CAT CONVERTER and u should be good.

Please help me. love ya. ;]

You can go to any exhaust shop and have them install a cat for you. It doesn't have to be a Honda one.

Blackmale the shop that installed your exhaust.

Tell them if they don't put your cat back on that you'll turn them into the EPA. haha.

they most likely have it lying around. If not they should owe you one. They'll know they were wrong.

Tell em to fix it for free. No charge for labor

Umm you COULD try to source the HF style CAT...but then you'd have to FIND one....
Best Bet is to have the shop fix it
I don't know anyone that COULD pass acar w/o a cat.
