Default Which axle is longer?

I'm replacing the axles, and I want to make sure that I'm doing this correctly.

One of the axles is longer than the other other. Which axle is the long one?

TIA

EDIT: The driverside has the longer axle.

I was posting this late last night as I was replacing the axles. Sorry that I didn't provide that information. This is for an 6th gen accord. 4cyl, non-abs, manual.

on a 4th gen F22 engine, (I'm thinking a 5th gen will be similar) a manual tranmission car has 2 shafts the same length with an intermediate shaft on the left side shaft. These must be installed on the same side they came out. I'm not sure how you would tell if they got mixed up....

U can't get them mix up. They just won't fit if it's in the wrong place. Not even close.
