Any road racing prefernce on aftermarket steering Wheels.
I would say it is mostly personal preference, but I like 350mm wheels. I've driven some 340's, and they were fine. But the 320's I've driven seemed too small to me, but that may be because I have bigger hands.

BUT - if you've got a shiny slippery wheel just pour some water on your gloves before you go out.
Scott, who should have figured that out sooner than he did....DOH!

Same here, but OMP instead of Sparco. I'm not convinced that the flat bottom wheel is worth it since I lose the added leg room on sharper corners anyway.

I have the Sparco extreme in black leather which is 320mm D shaped wheel, which is excellent for knee clearance but sucko for the steering rack that I have currently. At the sema show I saw it it black suede with a black center and finally black buttons (I switched mine from red after too many people asking me if I had nos) so I'm thinking about that. However the leather has been very durable for times I accidentally work on the car and go to drive it with slightly dirty hands.
with a http://www.esses.us quick release and soon a sparco spacer

97' Civic HB with manual steering rack. I run a Sparco Mugello (330mm) with LTB motorsports 2" extension quick release, love it for HPDE/Road Racing use but for tight auto-x courses it's hard work.

I use a Sparco Mugello, I like it....however. I have driven with the Monte Carlo and I would have to say that it is the most comfortable and ergonoicly correct wheel my hands have ever touched.

I have a 350mm Mugen wheel. Anything smaller just feels funny, to me. Nevermind the small ones block the gauge cluster for me, which blows on a street car.

"Mugen" means "Big Money" in Japanese.

That isn't true. A smaller OD means you move your hands less distance as they travel through any given arc of the wheel. You give up mechanical advantage (or leverage) relative to a larger one so it's more work.
I use a fairly small OD MOMO - 330mm - from LTB Motorsports because I wasn't worried about working harder turning it: I have to retain power steering on my car in ITB.
K
EDIT - pic is from when the car was still in showroom stock trim.
