thanks a lot man... i know it's a DSM and it's evil around here... I was going to put a warning like "ignore the car, just check out the picture" haha

I've been looking at that camera. Is it possible to get smooth looking 800x600 day pictures? I'm thinking the manual focus it has will allow to acheive a shallow DOF for car pics, such as the 6th pic you posted. DSLR style

you're definately able to get clear 800x600 day pictures... i shoot on the highest quality setting and the pictures come out as 2560x1920... if you shrink those down to 800x600, they'll look really nice. and this camera does allow for nice DOF and the 12x zoom is REALLY nice

... time to go to work... WOOHOO!!!

Your photography is awesome, but your camera isn't that great. The colors aren't as vibrant and crisp as a Nikon or Canon. Panasonic's CCDs just aren't up to par compared to other high-end digital cameras.

i really wanted a canon 300d or some digital SLR, but i'm a poor college student so i had to go with what i could afford... but i'm really happy with it
