recommend me a shifter
I need a shorter shifter for my b16 powered 94 coupe, will a stock ITR shifter fit? I would rather stick to honda oem quality. but if there is a reasonably priced and durable aftermarket one that wont wear out my syncros then I would consider it if. any recommendations?
You can use any b series shifter. They are all the same.
I've never felt a short throw that felt half as nice as the stock b series with good bushings.

$35 shipped can't beat the price
The stock B16 shifter is already short and will do fine. Any short shifter will **** up your synchros if you shift too fast.

Stay OEM. They have good feel, length, and throw - and they don't break after 2 months.
All '94-01 Integra shifters are identical - yes, including Type-R; only difference is that the R has a polished metal finish, while the other models are black. The Integra shifter throw is a little shorter than the Civic's.

I use B&M's in both my DA and my EK. 3 of my friends use them as well. I've had them in both cable and hydro trannies and never had a prob. in either. I'ts been in my Da for about 4 yrs. now and still smooth. You can get them from summit with Energy bushings for $60 shipped.

94+ Integra or GSR stock dual bend
I just put one in my 99 civic and it works great. I tried bending the shift linkage, but I felt like I was gonna break it so I just sawed off a bit of the bottom part of the shifter so it's the same length as the one on the civic. $12 well spent

I have had a my Skunk 2 shifter for a little over 3 years now, great shifter and very short...top notch workmanship and a decent price...
No problems whatsoever on my tranny..it's just bad driving...for all those bad drivers out there...

I am also running the b&m with the sealed bearing and its nice. As for the shor shifter messing with your tranny. This has been covered I know but it really has more to do with the coordination and timing of your shifting rather than the shifter itself that will mess the tranny up.

Please do your homework everyone that bitches about short shifters and synchros. It was one said "short shifters dont ruin synchros, drivers do." Thats true.
Vouch for my blue 13$ ebay shifter that got abec 5 ball bearings, direct bolt on, very solid, running for 2 years.
