im going to do the changeover....whats needed for it to operate properly...im not buying crap parts...i have a b16a right now...what ecu, dizzy, im, and so onm do i need...whats best...will be running a b16b IM soon.

 

Ecu... I would get a chipped p28, or a p30. The dizzy is from a obd1, take your pick http://www.distributorking.com offers discounts to h-ters. You also need a 4 wire o2, and a jumper if you want to use one.

not all dizzys work, i am in the process of trying to find one that does, i have a sohc zc and the dizzy from a 1995 1.5 doesn't line up at all, i'll post up when i figure it out, unless someone already knows and wants to share.

 

I did the conversion on a couple of my cars. For the 1st gen B16 i used a 2 piece frog harness, a jdm obd1 pr3 and 93 gsr vtec obd1 distributor and injectors. The step of the injectors is optional though. You can continue to use your old non obd injectors and injector harness if you want to save some $$. The last thing need is a 4 wire o2 sensor which will have leads from the conversion harness.
