Default *sigh* another clutch question...

damn, here's my problem. Whenever I step down onto my clutch, I can hear a small but present squeak. What could that mean? My friend suggested that I should bleed my clutch, tranny fluid. I'm doing that today... but if it's not that, then what's causing the squeaks?

Look right where the clutch slave cylinder pushes on the fork for the throwout bearing. There should be a small 'ball' type thing that sits in a indentation on the fork. Grease that and it should help.

If you just want to get rid of the squeak, don't waste your time bleeding and changing stuff. It's probably the release fork squeaking.

Son of a bitch, asleep at the tree again...
