Default header wrap

does anyone no if the header wrap works??? Also how much does a throw out beiring cost???

yes header wrap works. anything to lower the underhood temperature is a good thing.

from san leanardo its like 40 bucks for the t-o bearing.

a release bearing? you have to remove the trans, and then take out the throw out fork and replace it then reinstall the trans. probably looking 300-400 for a shop to do it.

Yes, for a couple of reasons. I'd personally never wrap a header that was expensive or that I wanted to last. I'd recommend having the header professionally coated (inside and out) if you want to reduce under-hood temps and preserve/protect the header.

read a post that by wrapping the header you can crack it. I personally wouldn't since they cost $300 for some aftermarket ones.

Header wrap will mess up some headers because they keep in the heat and cause more stress than the header was designed for...

I wouldn't use headerwrap on a nice header, but on a cheapo I would...

I am using it on my DIY downpipe and dumptube so people can't see the shitty welds! haha...
