running rich and bogging after race
I am a newbie so take it easy on me, anyways. I got a fmax turbo gsr with built bottom end running about 7psi right now with a apexi timer to measure my A/F. After I raced my buddy and I decelerated(in neutral) my car just died and started back up when put back in gear. when I looked at the A/F ratio it was at 11.3 and it would not move from that point unless I tapped on the gas. Well I just peg legged it home with the A/F reading 11.3 the whole time. When I came to a stop it was bogging hella bad and you could smell gas while reading 11.3. Sorry for the long post but I need help bad and would apperetiate any input. By the way it didnt throw any CEL's
You car probably loaded up after you let off the pedal. I would imagine that you fowled your plugs and maybe it was so rich that it made you o2 sensor go haywire. Has it been tuned at all or have you even checked your plugs to see how it is running.
haven't checked em since i changed them about 5 or 6k miles they are those denso iridiums on a step colder.my o2 sensors about 6 months old. no its not tuned accept i have that little injector contoller and additional injectors hooked up which im bout to get rid of . normally it would run a little rich but correct itself at idle, but im sure my plugs are black as hell(check in the morning). Could i be anything else that would cause it to do that cuz its never done that before?

Out of curiosity, why would you spend a good amount of money on an FMAX kit and a "built bottom end", but not have the setup properly tuned?
im working on getting it tuned, just ran outta flow at the time i got it. At this time im looking into getting the apexi power fc or hondata and 550 or 650cc injectors. Anyways i figured out my issue, my map bypass valve was clogged, just hadn't checked it a while. btw whats the going rate for a tune. i was quoted 250 at one place and 450 at another in houston.
Both prices sounds reasonable (the $250 sounds rather low) depending upon what the tuner will actually be doing and how much time he plans to spend with the car. I'd do some research to ensure that the tuner you select is a good one, even if he isn't the least expensive.
