Default mechanical water temp.

ok i installed my water temp. into the lower radiator hose, now the problem is... what do i seal it with??? i tried apoxy for rubber but its just not working, it barly drips out after the engine heats up. any suggestions????

it sounds like you just cut a hole in the radiator hose, pushed the probe in, and tried to seal it up? is that right?

if so.....go buy a new radiator hose right now

Air in the system is going to be drawn in and your cooling circuit isn't going to have proper pressure due to the weakness of your hose, and probably some other things that I am forgetting. In short -

NEW HOSE FOOL!!

just buy a piece of exhaust tubing the size of the id on your hose weld a nut on that matches the sender and clamp it in the straight section of hose

That's actually not a bad idea. I would roll the ends to keep the hose from slipping off, but I never thought of that. to you.
