go to hasport.com
and don't go to any utah shops becasue your never going to know what they did.

d16 are possible, just more work in the welding area...

Ask at http://www.redpepperracing.com

You'd probably be better off to do a 1st-gen DOHC ZC swap than a D16Z6 or D15B-VTEC swap. Horsepower is about the same, but the 1st-gen ZC would probably be an easier install.

86-87 teg motor or zc brown valve cover from jdm 86-87 teg. if you use the 88-89 teg it is harder to wire up and also can not use the zc from the 88-91 civics as the mount is different. the sohc motors will not work as it is a lot of work to make mounts. none of it lines up at all. the easiest is the zc but you can always rebuild those and go turbo or nos and it is still fast or go Bseries swap. I have done all of them and I like the 86-87 zc and the b16a swaps. just the b16a one got expensive

you may want vtec, but first see if you can find a guy with a worked d16a1 (old zc) in a first gen to let you ride in it, or even drive it.

youll forget vtec even exists half way through 2nd gear.
