89 crx si , wont start, happens randomly

ok heres my problem, this happens randomly..sometimes when i start my car the engine goes on for like 2 seconds and then it jerks a little then it shuts down.

, and then when i try to start it right after it shuts down, it wont start. but da problem goes away whenever i leave it for 5 minutes.hela annoying, maybe i need to change my spark plugs? spark plug wires? fuel filter? i already replaced the cap and rotor, thanks in advance for the help.

try popping off your gas cap. it relieves a "vacuum" that is common in these 88-91 gas tanks. happened to my 90 crx si all the time. i would just pop the gas cap off and put it back on. voila.
