what is your 60' time??? 13.8 seems kinda slow for trapping 100mph!!!

 

60 foot is 2.19's i couldnt hook up for sheeit.. its cause i was running too much pressure in the tires.. if i woulda gotten a 1.8 60 foot i coulda had a much better time.. but its all good..

 

ok!! cause a buddy of mine trapped 103 mph with 12.9.. then again he has 24 inch slicks and a sweet *** pomona track.... not knocking on you though!!! good runs

That's a nice trap speed for all motor though!

 

ya even though i ran slicks.. they didnt help all that much... they did help though.. my best time on street tires was like 14.19 @99.97 with a 2.47 60 foot

 

Man for some reason its hard as hell for FWD's to hook up at GLD ...

I wonder what my teg is gonna run... in the spring i am shooting for low 12's and if i throw the motor in a EG .. which i plan on doing.. i hope to get into the 11's woot! haha we'll see how that goes

 

Are you doing any sort of burnout with these slicks? I got a 2.2 60' time with Falken Azenis (street tire) at the awful track near me.

 

ya i tried doing burnouts.. but i didnt heat em up enough.. i mean i like the track.. but i couldnt hook up for crap.. i used to hit 2.0 60 foots on shitty street tires... at my other home track.. i think i just need to do a huge burnout for like a minute hahaha with like 10psi in teh tires.. then maybe i coulda hit a 1.8 60 foot..
