integra console in crx?
hey, im wondering if the center console, and arm rest out of an 94+ integra will go into a crx and look good. ive seen hatches with it done? anyone with a crx have it? thanks
The CRX center console is twisted towards the driver, so it will not work. If you're going for the teg swap because you want cupholders you may have to look for another option because the CRX dash won't line up with a straight center console.

first i wanna say nice job with the arm rest, so there is no way i can get the whole console in the crx? is there any other consoles besides integra i can swap in? im not just liking the crx one anymore thanks
Nah, the whole console's not going to happen because of the bend. There's probably plenty of console swaps you can do, but generally the integra ones are the only ones worthwhile because any others require much more modification.
I say if you're really that bored of your CRX console, maybe you could consider a dash swap. Although that also is a mod nightmare. If you're not crafty I say don't try it.

a quick search turned up this:

That would be a 94 GSR dashboard and Del Sol seats into a 91 CRX. Now you ask how would you get the door panels to line up? I've heard that you can remove the speakers, speaker cover, and air vent, heat the foam behind the door panels to make it soft, then quickly close the door on the dashboard and you will basically mold the door panel onto the dash.
This method was from a 93 EG, however, so I don't know how this guy did it. There were no pics of the doors, unless someone has them.

As many as you'd like. I've even seen a Hyundai ebrake console and armrest in a CRX. If you do anything other than honda/acura expect modification.

An arm and a leg. Or they'll just say "It's not possible." Do It Yourself... i can't stress that enough. Because after you get charged $900 for something you could've done yourself, it'll fall apart. Shops cut corners... you know you won't.

I guess Vap's GSR console and armrest. Looks awesome, fairly easy to do. Any Integra I guess would be my choice.

I like mine because it's function over fashion, I like somewhere to rest my arm and keeps things in it.
