Default Can anyone ID this arm rest???

I bought this armrest trusting that it was for a CRX. After test fitting it, it quickly became obvious that it is not. A couple people suggested that it might be for a da.

Here's the pics.

It's actually quite similar to a CRX one, except that the cut out in the front is far too narrow to fit over the ebrake console in a CRX, and the CRX cutout is flat across the top.

As tall as it is, I would think it would be for either a CR-V, or if it's older, maybe something like the old Civic Wago-van or whatever they were called.

It's really no taller than any of the other armrests. I guess it looks like that from the angle of the shot.

Here is a pic from an ebay thread for a supposed USDM DA armrest, as you can see in the pictures, it does not have the ashtray built into it - so that can't be a USDM DA armrest. The DA armrest also has fold down cupholders built into the top cover when you open it up.

Thanks to 'DJ Desperado' on g2ic, if you want me to take it down, let me know!

I would guess it is from a 88-91 civic - it might fit on a DA if you took out the rear section around the e-brake and the ashtray though. If it does fit a DA and you can sell it on g2ic, you can get top dollar - most people will pay upwards of $100 if it will fit around the motorized seat belts.

Definately not from a DA. Its too thick in the middle. The automatic/manual seat belt stuff gets in the way. USDM have a ashtray in the back, at least on mine anyhow, but it doesnt have an armrest. Ive seen ones with an armrest and Im not sure if it does or doesnt have ashtray. but its definately not from a DA.

That helps

There is no armrest in my DA. I dont remember one in the 92 gsr either. However the ashtray in my DA looks the same.
