has ne one ever taken a type r lower control arm and put it on a CRX

If you're talking about the rear LCA, then yes, Honda did back in 1988 for the USDM cars. But at that time they just called it the CRX rear lca...

Search for "ITR" & "LCA" in this forum with the archive option on.

It should bring up enough posts that show the 88 rear LCA is similar, in appearance/design and idential with respect to suspension pickup points, to the the ITR (DC2-R) rear LCA. You just need to switch to rear shocks with an eyebolt lower mounting style (vs. the fork type if you have an 89-91 car).
