Are you saying that the VSS isn't spinning (where the cable plugs into). I have a b16 swap with an S1 tranny, and I have to twist my cable back and forth a few times before it goes in all the way. What type of tranny are you running?

im running a jdm b16 tranny...(jdm) mainly i did put it in all the way....i have no idea why its not working...i mean...i messed with t he cluster and it seems like the cable just needs to spin from the tranny to read the speeds and when i pluged it in the tranny...and drove around...just seems like from the tranny its just not spinning...so im stuck....also i have two extra hoses that are from my powersteering...and theirs no plugs for them on the tranny so i dont know if it runs from the power steering or wat....but its not spinnin...im stuck....

well when i replaced my speedo cable too. there was a small clip that makes the speedo cable stick to the tranny. there is a small groove on the speedo cable that has to go into a small groove on the tranny hole too. make sure it goes all the way down and make sure the clip stays tight. i dunno if that helps but make sure the speedo cable is all the way into the hole and the grooves line up.
