ulev bypass mod for 2004 civic vp, any help?
ULEV stands for [ultra low emission vehicle] if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure how you could bypass that without putting a different motor in it. Perhaps you could tell us what bypassing "it" does for you?
What exactly are you trying to do? Bypass the ULEV? You do know that's a rating and not any real peice of equipment on the car right?
EDIT: Arch beat me to it, and yes, you are correct as to what it stands for.

my buddy said theres some kind of module or something hes going to take out of intake manifold or bypass it, he also said he'd get the directions off this site , so i registered to see what exactly he was talking about.
I know nothing about the newest generation of Civics, but if it's anything like the rest, he's probally talking about removing the resonator from the intake. It won't really do much of anything but make it sound better.
If there's something that I'm missing, somebody please correct me. I have no experience whatsoever with the newest generation of Civics.

maybe thats it but could you tell me how i could do that, or is the resonator the big black plastic piping that leads up to the air filter, cuz i removed that already
So do the newer Civics still utilize the vertical intake manifold? If you pulled all of the piping leading to the filter, then you got the resonator most likely.
