SUNROOF QUESTION

ok so i picked up this 96 integ and it has 1 of those after market sunroofs but it doesnt work and the headliner is beat to **** so i was wondering if i could use the stock sunroof and plug that 1 in instead. and use the headliner from that the sunroof is 1 of those that they install at the dealer so im guessing it should be like tye stock one right? but it you open it from the top not on the dash like the stock any help?

**** thats gonna require me doing some work,damn. thanks for the reply anyways hopefully it will work but if it does fit there is there going to be a plug i can plug the stock sunroof into? because like i said this is a aftermarket from the dealer but i open it on the roof near the moonroof it self

im not understanding.
is it an aftermarket moonroof where they had to cut out some of the roof and then they put a pop up style or a cloth style cover on it?
or are you talking about the OEM style where it just slides into the rear end of the roof?
or.. was it an oem at first, then converted into something else? cuz if so.. then you can just see what they did, if they didnt hurt it beyond being fixable, then you might be in business

yeh need more info... but if i am getting this right, go to a good fab and have a plug made up of carbon fiber
