Does anybody know how much an EF H/B DX would weigh? Stock? How about with all the interior removed, except for the dash, front door panels and 1 seat? I've never weighed my car and don't have the slightest clue what it weighs. Anybody know? Thanks.

My Si weighs in at a hefty 2350 without me in it, no spare tire, no rear seats. so probably about 2400 with my box, amp and full interior. Good thing I've got a turbo!

DX's are about 100-200 less pounds.

 

mines was 2320 no back seats, no spare tire- when i used to have a b16

 

Remember guys, the B series motors are about 100lbs heavier than the D series, so it isn't a good comparison.

 

i have a 91 civic si , with a GSR motor and turbo with large intercooler and a 8pt chromoly rool bar factory seats nothing striped kept all interior and carbon fiber hood with a heavy wings west kit , u know the ruber one, I weight about 150lbs and with me in the car It weighed 2305lbs, I know a friend has a 88 hf crx with the same and his car weight is at 2050 with him in it.

 

My '88 Civic DX weighs 2200 lbs with me in it, I weigh 160

People who have quoted weights all have B series swaps in their cars. A stock 91 Si will weigh a lot less than a 91 Si with a B16a in it.

 

Actually.. It's Ok.. Right now I'm running a stock motor with turbo, but I'll be pulling the motor out this winter and swapping it for a B series, so it's fine.
