LS/TURBO..........
Im looking to purchase a turbo fro my 95 LS.....and i was wondering what the best turbo would be...T3 is what i heard from alot of people...But im not sure what kinda boost i can run without building the bottom end up on my car...LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK...THANKS
I'm telling you right now, you are setting yourself up for failure here. If you don't search for basic questions like this then your going to get flamed badly. But I'll toss in my few extra cents.
First off, I would recommend buying the book, "Maximum Speed: Building, Designing, and Testing a Turbocharged System" by Corkey Bell. Just judging from your post you, I take it this is your first look into the darkside, so buy that book, and research. Its alot harder to install a turbo then most people make it seem. Proper preperation, sketching, and planning is needed in placing a turbocharged system in your car if your doing it custom.
Just looking around these boards, the popular choice is most likely the T3/T04 turbo. And if you arent going to build the bottom end, the most I would suggest is 5 or 6 PSI untuned. If you get Hondata/Uberdata, and know someone with a dyno and can tune, then you can safely raise your boost on stock internals.
As my own personal opinion, I would buy that book, research alot, totally plan everything out before you go turbo. As they say around here, do it right the first time! Dont skimp! Especially if your running stock internals.

You should of done a search, people on this site are real a$$holes. I don't really care though cuz I'm lazy too. Now.......... 7 psi should be good for a stock bottom end(lucky 7). If you get a vtec, t3/t4 would be better set up for a safer and stronger spool.
My personal thought though would be to just save more money and invest in pistons, rods and block guards....etc. You will have a stronger bottom and you could make more power. If you gunna do something do it right. Its will save you money and a big pain in ***. Do a search and good luck.

I think I might be checking that book out as well. One day I'll dabble in the turbo arena with my LS. She's got a built bottom end. Just need to change over a couple things if I boost.

I don't think it's a matter of anyone being an *******. The bottom line is, people on this board post very similar questions every single day. If people continue to ask the same question over and over and over, they're wasting not only valuble bandwidth, but other people's time as well.
